Hey friends,
Something many Singaporeans take for granted is our low unemployment numbers. This is reflected in our record low retrenchment numbers too as per advance estimates by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Businesses are doing better and there are more jobs than people who can fill them. This is why companies are turning to all forms of benefits to retain their talents. Paid sabbaticals are the flavour of the month. And why not? If people leave to go on their own sabbaticals, they likely will never return to the company. By angling it as a temporary departure, this talent has a chance of returning and contributing to the business. Any other new benefits that you are seeing sprouting outs? Drop me a reply and let me know. P.S. There will be no newsletter for next week as I will be travelling. Have a great week ahead!

📱Software/App RecommendationsNo more dealing with forget passwords
Count the number of apps and platforms you are using now in your work.
That is equal to the number of logins you need to remember. And this is not counting the mandatory password updates that may come every couple of months. A password reset can take between 5 mins to even 30 mins if you need your IT department to initiate it. A better solution is not to forget them and Bitwarden provides password management solutions for individuals, teams, and business organisations.

I couldn't believe it but my first online course is finally live! With a self-imposed deadline to go live in April, I thought I couldn't make it as work commitments and renovation noises disrupted my schedule. But with the same intensity of binge-watching a favourite Netflix show, I binge through the rest of the production work, figured out Teachable (I think) and got the course out in the world. Click on the picture to learn more about the course. 🙏🏻 |
