Hey friends,
After my first business of 12 years in recruitment, I actually got into career coaching. It was again accidental as I co-wrote a career guidebook then. The idea is to sell a million copies and retire but that did not happen. Instead, it became a calling card to conduct career workshops and coaching. My fascination with helping others with careers (especially career search) was what drove me into recruitment. Having said that, recruitment (I learned later) is a different ballgame altogether. I am since out of that scene but still enjoy participating in career talks. You may also see many work-related posts I have on LinkedIn. This is why I was so excited to be hosting my first career coach on my podcast as we bounce off ideas and also to learn from her what is the main driver of modern-day career management. 👇
Have a great week ahead!

Often there are certain texts, sentences or paragraphs that you may be repeating because that is the stock response to recipients. You can consider copying and pasting. Or you can preload them onto Text Blaze - a Chrome plugin that allows you to predefine those stock messages and assign a shortcode to them. This eliminates repetitive typing and mistakes. So to get to the same long paragraph, I just type /[shortcode] and that paragraph magically appears.

(80% completed) I finally got going on production work and completed the recordings for the first unit (there are a total of 3 units and 26 modules). A bit behind time as I was hoping to provide my beta learners with the content in March. I'm hoping to push get that ready within the coming week while I deliberate between hosting the content on Thinkific or Teachable. If anyone may be familiar with either of these platforms, happy to hear your thoughts on them. Still aiming at April for go-live but likely middle to late April.
