MLK Lesson

Students are invited to recreate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the MLK lesson. The lesson's video demonstrates how to trace a photo using the Curve tool to create a silhouette. If they have time, a student can add a Washington, D.C. background to the silhouette.

Tracing a Silhouette

When tracing a detailed photo, I recommend tracing around chunks of the picture. That way if you make a mistake, you don't have to start completely over. Overlap the chunks to make a complete silhouette.
