Hi , I took my son to college this week! How did this happen? Wasn't he like 5 last week??? I'm really proud of him and the adult he has become (he turns 18 in a few weeks!!) Living on his own he realized he didn't know how to make rice a roni and burned it. He took calculus in high school but didn't take a home ec/foods class. 💰This gets me thinking about what skills students really need to be prepared for the real world. Do they know how to budget for living on their own and planning for retirement? I am 46 and I still don't know how to plan for retirement. ✈️The woman sitting next to me on the plane yesterday was making a really bad PowerPoint. It was a Word Document on slides. Hey, if you want to use a lot of words then make it in Word. Why are you using a presentation tool?
