Brr starting to get chilly! As we get close to the winter break it can be challenging to keep students engaged! Try a Notice Wonder activity! Use the Add-on in a Google Form and add a photo. The New York Times "What is going on in this picture" is a great source of Notice Wonder images. Have students share what they notice about the image in the Google Form and send their responses to a Google Slides using the Add-on!
As a premium member you have access to the advanced features in my Add-ons by using the code psl (as in pumpkin spice latte).
🟪 Start by creating a new Google Form. Use the puzzle piece menu to select "Notice Wonder Form." (If you don't have access in your School account, share the form with your personal Gmail to set it up). Select the option for adding the "Add member passcode"
Show the sidebar and select "Setup." You can also use the puzzle piece to "Add member passcode."
Swap out the image!! Replace the default image by clicking on the 3 dots on the image.
Share with students to fill out the Form. Use "Send to Slides" option to push student responses to Google Slides.

Google Forms is updated! It now has a SHARE ICON! Omg I needed that!
Some other things to be aware of. The eyeball preview icon NO LONGER is how you share the Google Form. Instead you must first click PUBLISH and then click on the link icon in the toolbar to copy the responder link!

Try a PRE-FILLED URL!In the new Google Forms (try forms.new) options use the 3 dots menu to select "Pre-fill form". This allows you to fill out SOME of the fields in advance to ensure data integrity with your students. Share the pre-fill link.
