Big things are happening and I need your help to prepare for it!

Hello , Today's newsletter is a bit different. There are some exciting (and a bit scary) changes happening in my life that I want to tell you about as they are bound to influence my blog, this newsletter, and the ways that we connect. First things first. What's happening?

See that big, old farmhouse up there? Well, we are in the process of buying it and moving there. Yep, once again I found a new nest to feather and make my own. And this one is a big challenge! We will have our work cut out for us. It's an old farmhouse with barns and sheds that were built somewhere before 1788. Yes, you read that right. The property is well over 200 years old and it has been neglected for several decades.

Can you imagine the DIY projects coming our way? The empty rooms that need decorating? The endless possibilities for creating and crafting up home decor? It is a major undertaking because we are not just moving homes, we are moving countries as well! We are emigrating to Germany and that is a whole project in and of itself. Needless to say, we have been very busy over the last couple of months, not at the least with sorting out all those emotions in my head (nothing like this was on the horizon in January).

Anyway, I have been finishing up long-overdue projects here at the house to prepare it for the sale. I also already started decluttering and sorting and packing and creating quite the chaos in the process. (writing regular content for Songbird has been a bit of a struggle) I cannot wait for us to get the keys and to start digging in with that epic to-do list. For the foreseeable future, this project will be my main 'work' which means I will finally have the opportunity to dedicate a lot more time and attention to Songbird. In the meantime, I have been thinking about what this means for Songbird blog, possible new directions to take, and how I can best serve you - my most special newsletter readers -. I really want to take you along on this very exciting journey in a way that will benefit you as much as possible. So here is my ask:
Would you be so kind to let me know how I can help and serve you best? Would you tell me what you would like me to do on Songbird and on other online channels? I have created a short survey with mostly checkbox questions and a few open-ended ones. Shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to fill out.

ONE MORE THING... Would any of you be willing to have a short real conversation with me about the questions I address in the survey? Could be a phone call or a Zoom meeting? If you are up to being interviewed by me at a time of your convenience just reply to this email and I'll get back to you asap.
THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!!!
Marianne
