I'm making a few plans myself, though I'm never really sure if it's worth it as experience tells me that things change so fast (especially online) that any plan will only last a few months. But then it's good to have something to aim for. What you probably shouldn't do, though, is spend too long preparing for any specific future scenario. Whether that's an opportunity or a risk. It's good to identify these things and stay aware, but with limited resources, you're better taking action after action on what is right in front of you now. You'll make far more progress that way than by over-preparing for the unknown. One of my mantras is "Whatever happens, I'll handle it" from the well-known book title, because we all invariably do "handle it." There's no other choice when push comes to shove! I have insurance and I don't take silly risks with legal and financial stuff but apart from that, I'm all about action for the present.
