Hi Most people assume that successful creators come up with better ideas. Keith Simonton’s “equal odds rule” suggests something different. The rule says that the more ideas someone produces, the more likely they are to create something outstanding. Because quality and quantity are linked. And the more attempts you make, the higher the chances that one of them will really land. I find this really encouraging as a digital product creator. Because it means we don’t need every product to be a hit or every launch to outperform the last. We just need to do the work and create the output. Some ideas will flop. Some will be fine. And occasionally, one will surprise you. It seems that the creator who wins will not be the one who waits for the perfect idea, but the one who keeps making things.
