Item 01

I have added a large number of videos about launching and running a small business.

These are a video set that I bought when I bought the Digital Altitude Rise classes to resell in 2017.

Even I learned quite a few things from these courses and I used them on a BI Startup I was working on.

That startup now makes over USD2 million a year in consulting fees and has over 20 employees.

So they are doing ok.

I am using these same ideas in my new start up but it's a bit harder in my current company.

These classes are very well worth reviewing by anyone in the BI space who is running their own business.

The two courses are the Digital Altitude BASE and RISE courses.

The Black Diamond calls are also very well worth listening to.

Everyone on this email list knows I have been "woke cancelled" for 14 years because I was willing to stand up in public and defend the rights of men and boys.

Now that Trump is in the white house for a second term and "woke cancellation" is being wound back?

I am working on breaking out of this "woke cancellation".

Back to the "News" part of this "Newsletter".

While I was on LinkedIn and X I was letting people know about my view of the future of data warehousing.

In particular the future of dimensional modeling and data warehouses.

I have released a video talking about the future of data warehousing as I see it.

The most knowledgeable and experienced men in our industry may well be interested in my predictions because they will affect our industry.

The prior video mentions Mega Models.

I felt that it was a good idea to present a more detailed presentation on the question of "What is a Mega Model?"

This presentation lists the 10 features I defined for a Maga Model.

Again, really only the men who are most knowledgeable in our industry will be interested.

So I think this is enough for this Newsletter.

Hopefully people in our industry segment will eventually pick up on all these freebies and actually start using them.

The failure rates of data warehousing projects remains high.

That's kind of a shame.

Perhaps I will be able to build a large email list now that Trump is putting an end to this woke nonsense.
